Every tradition begins with an idea.
Sometimes that idea appears in a moment.
Sometimes it quietly grows over many months, taking shape one sketch, one conversation and one design at a time.
That's exactly how The Scottish Advent™ began.
A Different Kind of Advent
When we first imagined The Scottish Advent™, we weren't trying to create just another advent calendar.
We wanted to create something that felt unmistakably Scottish.
Something colourful.
Something thoughtful.
Something that celebrated the excitement of the countdown just as much as Christmas Day itself.
Because Advent isn't simply about opening a door each morning.
It's about building anticipation.
Creating memories.
Sharing traditions.
Enjoying the journey.
Inspired by Scotland
Scotland has always inspired our creativity.
Its castles standing proudly above colourful harbours.
Its mountains dusted with winter snow.
Its villages glowing with festive lights.
Its stories, traditions and warm sense of community.
We wanted The Scottish Advent™ to capture that feeling—not by copying the past, but by celebrating Scotland in a fresh, colourful and modern way.
Built One Idea at a Time
Like many creative projects, The Scottish Advent™ didn't appear overnight.
It began with ideas scribbled in notebooks.
Sketches.
Colour palettes.
Questions.
What should it feel like?
What memories should it create?
How could we make people smile every day throughout December?
Each answer slowly became another piece of the puzzle.
More Than a Product
For us, The Scottish Advent™ isn't simply something you buy.
It's something you experience.
It's the excitement of the first morning of December.
The conversations around the table.
The smiles.
The traditions that begin today and continue for years to come.
That's what makes it special.
Created with Care
Every Scottish Advent™ is thoughtfully crafted to order.
That gives us the opportunity to focus on quality, creativity and attention to detail instead of mass production.
We believe thoughtful gifts deserve thoughtful design.
The Beginning of a Tradition
Perhaps the most exciting part is that this is only the beginning.
Every Christmas brings new memories.
New families discovering The Scottish Advent™.
New traditions beginning.
New stories being written.
We hope that, over time, The Scottish Advent™ becomes something people look forward to bringing out every December—a familiar part of the festive season, just like decorating the tree or sharing Christmas dinner.
